11. Account Deletion

You may delete your IguanaCart account at any time through the My Account page. When you request account deletion:

  • Your user profile (including email, display name, and avatar) will be permanently removed from our systems.
  • Any shopping lists you own will also be permanently deleted, including all associated items, history, and statistics.
  • If you are a member of shared lists owned by others, you will be removed from those lists, but the lists themselves will remain accessible to the remaining members.
  • Any push notification subscriptions or related tokens will be revoked.
  • We may retain limited information if required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements, but otherwise your data will be erased.

Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. If you wish to use IguanaCart again, you will need to create a new account.

12. Cookies and Tracking

IguanaCart uses cookies and similar technologies to provide essential functionality:

  • Authentication: Firebase sets cookies to keep you securely signed in.
  • Database & Sync: Firebase may use cookies to enable real-time updates and offline support.
  • Payments: Stripe sets cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

These cookies are essential for the app to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
